To create art is to reorient my mind. A center takes form and I come around again.
The wheel is always returning. Revolving with it, I am ecstatic, I am electric.
Mandalas found me at a point when I needed to flip the script, to take 'what was' and remake it into 'what is.' My mandala-making is a celebration of process and projection. I take a small sliver of a story and re-spin it until its truth is unearthed. The retold story now becomes fresh and intriguing, full of possibilities. This gives a new and welcomed sense of wonder to my world.
Though created digitally, these works are meant to be felt, touched and traced. They invite the viewer to "see the way you feel" and "feel the way you see." My mandalas entice you to grab on with your mind’s eye. Each coincidental, accidental, and unexpected re-alignment opens possibilities to rewrite our personal histories, or better yet, transcend them.
